Who the course is worth it for

Course content: what we teach

The course covers the fundamentals of project management in a practical way. The curriculum and the examination questions are agreed with TÜV Rheinland.

• Project management fundamentals to DIN 69901, project types and phase models
• An overview of the standards: IPMA, PMI and PRINCE2
• Project goals: the iron triangle, SMART goal definition, goal hierarchy
• Project initiation and a successful project start
• Project planning: environment analysis, stakeholder management, risk management, work breakdown structure, network diagram and Gantt chart, resource and cost planning
• Project organization, execution and control
• Project closure and lessons learned
• Agile approach: Scrum
• Leadership in the project: leadership styles, delegation, personality models
• Communication, feedback and conflict management in everyday project work

The full curriculum is agreed with TÜV Rheinland and covers five course days.
